Girls Softball opens the season with a WIN!
Girls softball defeats Mattacheese MIddle School - 17-3
Thomas Rezendes pitched a complete game for the Crusaders, as the boys baseball played their best game of the year. The boys scored 4 runs late in the game. Kyle Leaver lead the drive with 3 hits(triple, double, single). Killain Powell had a nice hit and good defensive plays in the infield. Jake Schelegel was the catcher for the last few innings and did a good job. Luke Gavoni added a key 2 RBI hit. Wixon won 8-4.
The eighth graders lead the team trying to battle back against a strong Wixon team. Shannon Cumming, Eva Cakounces, and Kendal Ledford, played outstanding in the field. As Emily Marz and Bella Murphy added to the Crusaders offensive and the girls scored 6 runs.
The boys and girls head to Nantucket this weekend for a double header …..good luck to both teams.

KYLE LEAVER STRIKES OUT 11, AS THE BOYS BASEBALL TEAM WINS 15-13 OVER CAPE COD LIGHTHOUSE CHARTER SCHOOL. KILLIAN POWELL AND JAKE SCHLEGEL HAD TWO HITS EACH. THOMAS REZENDES PLAYED GREAT BEHIND THE PLATE AND CRUSHED A TRIPLE AND DOUBLE, KNOCKING IN 3 RUNNERS.
