CAPE COD SUPER SIX MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
EST. 2015
Participating Schools: Cape Cod Academy
Falmouth Academy
St. Francis Xavier Prep
St. Margaret Regional School
St. Pius X School
Trinity Christian Academy
We are excited to
announce the formation of the Cape Cod Super Six Middle School Athletic
Conference! The Cape Cod Super Six
Middle School Athletic Conference (CCSS) is composed of the following member schools: Cape Cod Academy, Falmouth
Academy, St. Francis Xavier Preparatory School, St. Margaret Regional School,
St. Pius X School, and Trinity Christian Academy.
The participating schools have been competing against each other over several years as interscholastic athletic opponents. By joining together, will give the opportunity to promote and strengthen the athletic program of each individual middle school. The formed CCSS will help organize a structured season scheduling and showcase the importance of teaching young athletes to give and receive recognition of team accomplishments. The formed conference encourages participation, development of individual pperformance, while sharing values of good sportsmanship and team work in a healthy competitive atmosphere. The CCSS will provide the opportunity for students to develop and exhibit skills to the best of their abilities, with the goals of developing self-esteem. All participating middle schools will be treated with equality. Team and individual performance will be developed and recognized.
The first season of the CCSS conference participation is underway, for both the boys and girls basketball teams. The 10 game regular season conference schedule will end just before the February school vacation, with the conference championship tournament being played over a three day period (Feb 23-25).
We confidently believe with a successful basketball season, will allow setting up the continuing of the CCSS expansion for other sports individually offered sports by participating schools, such as, tennis, softball, soccer, golf, and cross country.
Thank you for your support and look forward to sharing, athletic successes in the years come.
