A Message from the Athletic Director
Athletics are vital to the success of St. Pius X Middle School. With eight sport teams, students can find their athletic interest, develop life lessons, and share in the camaraderie of being part of a team. St. Pius X School supports a competitive athletics program that teaches discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Our mission statement stresses the importance of developing the "whole" student; in the athletics program, we strive to develop all students ability to learn and improve sport skills and understand the importance of a physically active lifestyle. We are fortunate to be part of an involved school community that gets excited about the success of our teams. At St. Pius X School, we value this sense of community and share a common goal of creating lifelong leaders. Since 2010, as the director of Middle School athletics at SPXS, Coach Corsi has added 4 new programs to the middle school offerings: golf, tennis, cross country, and cheer leading. Coach Corsi was the lead contributor to the development of the first Cape Cod Middle School Athletic Conference. The Cape Cod Super Six (CCSS), consists of six independent schools from Buzzards Bay to Yarmouth.
